Merhaba Turkiye!

DISCLAIMER: This post is soooooo long and contains lots of pictures.

Aku start usha pasal Turkey ni lepas aku tengok movie yang Lisa Surihani berlakon tu, apa nama movie tu? Istanbul Aku Datang eh? Lepastu yang Fazura berlakon tuuuu apa tuuu haa Manisnya Cinta di Cappadocia (scene kat hot air balloon tu lawaaaaaa i creyy). And yeah about the former president, Mustafa Kamal Atartuk. Since then, I put ‘Travel to Turkey’ in one of my bucket lists. And on December 5th 2016, my dream came true!!! I reached Turkey, finally!!! Honestly, I never imagined that I would be able to touch down at Turkey some days because yes it seemed so impossible for me to go there. Seriously. I was actually planning to go to Korea after I had done with my final exam because Korea is on my number 1 list of places that I want to go. Turkey? Hmmm maybe on 99th ? Lol. I really wanna go to Korea…Jinjjaaaa cheongmalll I wanna go there so baddddd but I guess its not my rezeki yet to go there. Its okay, I know Allah has a better plan for me. Pray for me some day I will touch Korea, okay?! Okay stop being emotional. Lets get started with my Journey to Turkey J

So this is how the journey started.

Uhmm where should I start? Alright.

I went to Turkey with my siblings; 5 of us. Excluded my eldest brother and my parents T_T
So sad three of them could not join us because of their works. They couldn’t adjust the schedule since this was a last minute plan. They joined our trip through whatsapp only hahaha.
The trip took 9 days and 7 nights from KL – DOHA – ISTANBUL. Umm nope. 10 days and 8 nights?? Lol KB – KL – DOHA – ISTANBUL :D

We overnight at KLIA because we had to meet up at 6 a.m. on the next day. Ok there was an incident happened before we took off.

WE DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH POCKET MONEY LOL.

So, here’s the story.

My abah had told me at home that he would give the pocket money to me and my brother. So the amount would be split into two. Half for my bro and another half for me. But abah didn’t give me yet at that time. He gave it all to my brother. I thought my brother would give it to me later.
Then, when we arrived at KLIA, I wanted to go to the money changer and asked my brother about the money. Can you guess what happened? Yes. He gave it to me and I asked him,

‘’eh, ni je?’’ then he told me, ‘’ye lah.
“takde pun”
Dasat kan? Hahahaha.. later my bro called abah and told him about what had happened and abah tepuk dahi je lol apa ke bijak abang long aku ni. Simpan kat dia buat apa. Macam la boleh pakai duit dollar kt kb nuh. XD

The problem settled and yeah we ready to go!

5th December 2016. 9 a.m.
KL – DOHA - ISTANBUL .

We took off from KL and transit to Doha. The journey took about 5?6 hours maybe? And transit at Doha for about 2 hours. Then we continued to fly to Istanbul. YEY!

Finally, at 3 p.m (turkey time), we arrived at Istanbul Atartuk Airport. Then, we headed to Bursa, our first visit. Oh yes, I forgot to mention earlier. We went there with a travel agency, Al- Ilmi Travel&Tours. For this trip, there were 32 of us; about 6-7 families ?? Sorry I couldn’t remember hehe and yappp we were the only family that didn’t have parents lol. the others were with their parents, 2 couples, and a solo traveler. They were very shocked to know that our parents didn’t come along. Even the travel guide, Omer seemed shocked and he said this was his first time guiding tourists who came without their parents lol.

6th December 2016
Bursa>>>>Pamukkale

Our first stop was at Bursa. Bursa was a nice city...well everything was so nice in Turkey hehe.

We stayed in Bursa for a night only because on the next day we had to go to our next visit, Pamukkale. Before we headed to Pamukkale we made a quick visit around Bursa City. First, we went to the Grand Mosque. Just like its name, the mosque was sooooo big. But i could say that almost all mosques in Turkey are big. Serious besar dan luas sangat! The mosque was filled with beautiful pieces of caligraphy arts..theres nothing you could say about it. Speechless. Subhanallah....
Alhamdulillah, i managed to perfom Dhuha in here. Thank You Allah

The Grand Mosque, Bursa

Next, we stopped at the next mosque, The Green Mosque,

Next stop, of course,,, SHOPPING TIME! We stopped at Silk House to shop. But my siblings and i didnt buy anything cuz we were busy taking photos. Pose sana sini. Maklumlah, jakun! Haha

Bursa checked, next ..... Pamukkale!!

Aku selalu salah sebut nama tempat ni. Asyik pamuklele pamuklele lol. Pa mu kka le. OK :D
Serioussss Pamukkale had a really nice view. Cantik sangat!! Nak nangis T_T
just like what had been said, Pamukkale, an unreal landscape, made up of mineral forests, petrified waterfalls and a series of terraced basins.

tiket masuk ke Hierapolis Archaeological Site.
sumpah lawa tempat ni!!!!

This thermal pool was amazing! At first i thought the water would be freaking cold as it was really cold there. Bila kau jalan atas tanah (tanah ke?) putih tu kan memang rasa sejuk dia tu subhanallah memang rasa terbakar kaki tu but then, once you step into the water, MAGIC! tak sejuk dah!! Suam je. Rasa nak mandi pun ada. Best sangat! This was so unreal. Subhanallah.

We stayed there until Maghrib. The sunset here was so beautiful. Love it!!!! Banyak lagi sebenarnya kawasan kawasan menarik dalam site ni tapi tak sempat nak pergi sebab time kiteorang sampai tu dah nak maghrib. Dapat cover turquoise pool ni je. Nanti korang datang sini korang selongkar la sampai habis. Puas hati tau!!

Before we headed out from this Cotton Palace, we stopped for an ice cream. You all know right bout this Turkey-Ice-Cream-Prank thing. Hahaha. Well of course aku pun tak terkecuali la untuk join kena prank ngan pak cik ice cream tu. The thing is, aku dah perhati dah movement pak cik ice cream tu macam mana dia elak orang dari amik ice cream tu, but still aku tak terlepas dari terkena! Salute lah pak cik ice cream ni. And of course, Ice cream Turkey memang sedap!!
Habis melantak ice cream, we went back to the hotel and had dinner. Lepas tu, masing masing berdengkur waiting for the wake up call for the next morning.

7 - 9th December, 2016
Pamukkale >>>> Konya >>>> Cappadocia

Bursa checked, Pamukkale checked, next,, Konya!

Konya pun lawa jugak tempat nya. Dah, malas nak cerita panjang, let the pictures speak! :)

cute jeeee budak taska ni :D

lawa kan minah Turki....tenggelam aku

Konya dah, Jom Cappadocia!!

Sebut pasal Cappadocia ni, terus teringat movie yang Fazura dengan Sam berlakon tu.
Yes, the hot air balloon!! Omer, our travel guide (he's damn handsome, orang turki memang semua handsome :') ) said that Cappadocia is known for the hot air balloon activity. Kau google macam mana pun, type la Kapdokya ke Capadocia ke, keluarnya gambar hot air balloon tu lah!

At Cappadocia, we visited The Underground City, i forgot which cities we went to. Jalan kat Cappadocia ni kan memang buat aku terpesona betul! Pemandangan kat sana Subhanallah lawa sangat. Bukan kat Cappadocia je, semua tempat yang kitaorang singgah pemadangan tepi jalan raya dia semua cantik. Hebat betul kuasa Allah ni.
Ok. Kat Underground City ni nak masuk dia tak boleh selamba jalan je. Nama lagi underground city, haruslah buat cara undergroud. Yes, kena jadi nenek bongkok tiga jap kat sini. Hehe. Underground City ni tempat tinggal orang zaman dulu. Aku lupa dah sejarah dia (Omer duk explain aku sibuk duk bergambar T_T). Macam rumah la, ada bilik ada dapur, and etc.

Cantik kan ??? Macam sarang semut pun ada.

Done with Underground City, next we headed to Open Air Museum.

Tak nampak macam muzium pun kan. Kawasan pergunungan je. Tapi tahap kecantikan dia tu infinity tau. Cantik <3

"tak naik belon ke?''

''mana gambar belon panas?''

Ok. Sabajap. We stayed 3 days here. Day 1 we were able to cover only these 2 places. Day 2, yeaahhh its for hot air balloon activity!! and there were also some others activities provided such as Safari Ride and Turkish Dance show.

All of these are optional activities. Its up to us whether we wanted to join or not.

And we decided not to. Because, yes, 80USD per person for hot air balloon ride. I'm okay :----)
Takda duit kak abang. Nanti tunggu aku kawen ngan CEO aku datang sekali lagi naik belon. Hahaha.
But my 2 namjas went for a safari ride. Ok la. Murah sikit. Berapa USD eh per person aku tak ingat tapi boleh lagi la nak join kalau setakat 2 orang je. Nevertheless, i just thought that kind of activity would suit with namjas more than yeojas. So, naiklah mereka Jeep tu. I was told by my brothers that the ride was hella crazy. Trek dia macam jalan nak pegi Cameron Highland la gitu. Belit belit lompat lompat bagai. Heol. Thank goodness i didnt join.

but.......

i shouldhve joined tho.....

Oh ya. For the hot air balloon ride, it was cancelled because of the weather. Just like what Omer had told us that the balloon cannot be ridden when there was a bad weather. So, it depends on the luck lah. Kalau ada rezeki, boleh la naik. Kalau takde rezeki tak naik la. Unfortunately, their plan to ride the balloon at the second day needed to be cancelled as the weather at that time was bad. Luckily, they were able to ride it on the last day at Cappadocia. Alhamdulillah. Have fun guys (sobbing).

 gambar ihsan dari team....cantik.....

mampu tengok dari jauh je :') bestnya boleh tengok sunrise <3 <3

yup. its the view from our hotel. nice kan ?
if you want to read some info about this balloon ride, you can click here

sementara orang lain sedang bergumbira terbang ke angkasa cappadocia, apa aku buat sampai pukul 10 pagi tu?

Ya.

Berdengkur atas katil.

Selesai berdengkur, at 10 a.m we headed to our next stop, Salt Lake. Omer told us that this lake is the second largest lake in Turkey that with the percentage of the salt is about 30% if im not mistaken. Sorry if im wrong, i forgot what Omer had explained to us.T_T
We stopped there for some pictures of ourselves. Since time tu baru nak masuk winter cuaca agak sejuk but matahari sangat tegak di kepala. Rasa jugak bahang bahang sejuk panas tu. Jalan nak ke tasik tu agak jauh tapi tak jauh sangat and sifat kemalasan aku sangat sukar untuk dilupuskan, maka aku pergi sekerat jalan je lepastu dah tak tahan sangat sejuk, so i decided to went back to the bus. it was very unfortunate because i saw my bro's pic at the lake lawa gilaaaa. Menyesal tak pegi sampai habis.

nampak tak air? nun hujung di sinun. mek mampu jalan sampai sini ja. sejukkkkkkkkk

yeah definitely not a right spot to pose idc

next stop? Yes, into your heart :-----------))))

Next, we headed to Ankara.
Here's a general knowledge for you.

Did you know that Ankara is the capital city of Turki? Oh you knew it already. But i just knew it. Omer told this to us. For those who didnt know, yes. Its Ankara. You must be thought that Istanbul is the capital city of Turkey right? Me too. Hmm now i could see the reason why we should travel a lot. Hihi.

At Ankara, we stopped at Mustafa Kamal Atartuk Museum for some piccas!

Bukan patung tu,,,,suami aku...kesian dia kena tegak jee.

Ankara done, Nexttttt.....to the snow world, Bolu!!

masuk daerah bolu terus nampak salji...weeeeeeee

Bolu was freaking awesome! Daebakkk!! Untuk orang kampung macam mek yang tak pernah tengok main salji ni, the feelssss ahhh best sangat!! Walaupun macam pasir but its freaking snow. Kenyang kalau buat ais kepal ni haha.. Kejap jee kiteorang kat sini..time tu dah nak maghrib so boleh spend masa kejap je kat sini.. 1 jam tak cukup dik nonnn..

10-12th December 2016
Bolu >>>>>> Istanbul

Finally,,,our last stop would be Istanbul! Excited but sad at the same time. This would be our last activity in Turkey. Huuu sedih mek.
At Istanbul the schedule was quite packed as we had many places to visit. A little bit rush but we still could enjoy staying in this city.

we crossed the Bosphorus Bridge to go to Istanbul. Did you know that Istanbul is part of Europe? on the left side of the pic is Asia and on the right side is Europe. Subhanallah. Amazing righttt...Finally i could enter Europe by crossing this bridge hihi.

 look, its Trump Tower..

Our first visit would be at The Blue Mosque a.k.a Sultan Ahmed Mosque/ Sultan Ahmed Camii. Oh ya, kat Istanbul kitaorang banyak guna tenaga berjalan kaki tanpa menggunakan bas sebab jalan-jalan yang nak pergi ke tempat lawatan tu agak sempit, so takleh nak naik bas, Omer suruh jalan kaki..

cantikkan masjid kat sini..Masjid2 kat Turki semua besar besar dan reka bentuk semua lebih kurang je...kadang2 aku tertukar mana satu Masjid Aya Sofia, mana satu masjid Biru.. dan atas tu bukan masjid biru..hihi

jalan lagi....

 hai abang turki...

ini aku lupa apa nama tempat ni..macam memorial park la gitu...ada sejarah dia aku lupa. maaf mek tak minat membaca sejarah....singgah jap Omer bagi chance posing kat sini..

Tadaaaa dah sampai!! Blue Mosque depan park ni je...

BESAR SANGAT MASJID NI. TAPI SEMUA MASJID KAT TURKI BESAR BESAR!!

Dalam masjid...tak terkata weh... hanya mampu sebut nama Allah je...Allahuakbar...

Selesai melawat masjid, tempat seterusnya tempat yang menjadi sebutan para travellers. Dalam bas dah bising bising dah...

Apa lagi? Shopping mall lah!!!!

We went to Grand Bazaar for shopping. Yeyyyy!

ni jiran Masjid Biru, Hagia Sophia..later i will told some stories about Hagia Sophia ok

Sultan Ahmed Camii's view from the back...

keep walking.....for the sake of Grand Bazaar haha...

Turkey's Kebab.....they said Kebab here is delicious but Turkey's Kebab Malaysian version tastes better for me hihi..Kebab sini takde sos..x beshh...Tapi still sedap!!

Dah namanya Grand Bazaar..memang bapak grand laaa...besar yang amat...ada banyak pintu tau..memang boleh sesat kalau tak tanda mana tempat kau mula...But thanks to Omer and our Malaysian guide, En Saleh, they already told us the checkpoint to meet up later.

Done shopping, we stopped at restaurant for dinner.

Dalam gambar dah nampak besar, real life lagi BESOR...sedap!

Istanbul's view at night :)

Day 1 at Istanbul was great!

Lets move to Day 2....

Arghhhh the finale episode is coming...im not ready yet to end this post T_T

On the next day we went to  for a river cruise...Bosphorus Ride.
It was a great ride!!!!! Really! I really love the view alongside the river.. tooooo beautiful T_T

sebelum tu kitaorang singgah di masjid....

sebenarnya kan, di setiap bangunan bangunan cantik ni ada cerita dia. cumanya tu lah, aku tak amik note pun apa yang Omer explain. Terukkan tourist sorang ni ? :')

one thing that i love about this cruise. Its private. Group al ilmi je yang ada atas ni. Layan angin Turkey sambil menikmati Apple Tea.

APPLE TEA TURKI SUMPAH SEDAP PLEASE SEDAP SANGAT NAK NANGIS

ni lah Omer. Handsome kan?? Orang orang Turki handsome tau.

Bosphorus Bridge.

After 1 hour ride, we went for dinner. Dinner tepi laut. Syiokkk

dah duk tepi laut ni makan seafood laa. Ikan ni besttttttttttttt. Seminggu kat Turki ni first time jumpa ikan. Selalu telan kambing je haha

i really love the view at night. Cantik. Menyesal tak bawak dslr. Saja buat harta dalam bas tu ha. Amik pakai phone je. Agak shaky kan... sedih.

Done dinner, balik tidoooo.. gosh that would be the last night in turkey i cannooootttt T_T

Last day

Last day dah???????????????? Aaaaaa cepatnya masa :'(
Before we went back to Negaraku, we still had our time to go to our last visit. We went to Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace.

Ok lets go to Hagia Sophia first :)

Eh, kenapa ada patung dalam masjid tu???? Pelik kan? Tapi benar. That actually the angels. Did you know that Hagia Sophia was used to be a church? Yap, its originally built as a church. Right after Sultan Mehmed came, then he turned this church into a mosque. But now it is changed into a musuem. Thats why you could see angels. Theres a story about the angels. But yeah again i forgot what Omer said :'(
The history about Aya Sofia was great actually but if you want to know some you can CLICK HERE

LAST BUT NOT LEAST,

Topkapi Palace. The last visit before went back to KL. Yeap it was cloudy on the day. And of course, hujan turut menyambut kesedihan hari terakhir di Turki.

Ok masa dah time. Done with all activities provided. Next, headed to the airport...... balik......

Oh ya kalau korang masing ingat kan, ada berita keluar yang Istanbul kena serang bom tu..ya betul. Its happened here. Sayangnya aku tengah syok buat peta dalam bilik so tak tahu apa apa. Love you more Dont worry, we were all fine here. Thankfully tempat kitaorang selamat je. Esoknya tu kan, time on the way ke airport ada some of the citizens buat demo/protest pasal insiden bomb tu. Bagus rakyat Turki because they were all united. Its good to see them doing that kind of thing.

Nahhhh....this post has come to an end. So thats all that i could share with you guys about my trip to Turkey. It was a great country. I hope someday i can come again here with all my family members and will make sure to ride that freaking hot air balloon. Hihi..
Ah,,,i also had learned some Turkish language here...Thanks to Omer and En Saleh...
i now knew some of Turkish words ;

Gunayden = Selamat pagi
WC = washroom
Bay = Man
Bayan = Woman

ok tu je. Sebab selalu nampak time nak pegi toilet. Lol. Okbye

*im thinking of making a video for this trip...do you wanna see it?
